| SharpTune Motorcycles commenced operations in the lates 1970's trading initially as 'Dandy Motorcycle Accessories' - A Reflection of its Dandenong location. It was formed originally by Peter Sharp, who prior to Dandy Motorcycle Accessories has operated 'All Bike Tuning' in the nearby suburb of Braeside. |

| However, with the companies emphasis in those days leaning more towards engine rebuilding, tuning and servicing, rather than retail accessory sales the name was changed to SharpTune to more accurately reflect its activities. The current owner Albert Tehennepe joined Peter Sharp as a partner in the business in 1982, and the growth of SharpTune moved up a gear. Albert had previously worked in Western Australia for Balcatta Suzuki-BMW, and then as a salesperson for 'Road & Trail'. In 1995 Albert bought the remaining shares of the business and in 1996 moved the company to its present prominent location in Lonsdale Street Dandenong (Princes Hwy). |
